As of January 1, 2024, the Centre for the Maritime Economics Studies has gained a new staff member. Mr. Łukasz Grzelak, a long-standing employee of the University of Gdańsk, has assumed the role of Secretary/Office Manager.
Mr. Grzelak works in the Project Monitoring Office, which oversees projects implemented at the University that are funded by external sources (such as European Union funds, ministerial grants, etc.). He is a lawyer by training, with professional experience in the shipbuilding industry and spatial planning.
