April 28–29, 2025, in Sopot
Centre staff members Łukasz Grzelak and Tomasz Laskowicz participated in the fourth “BlueMissionBANOS Mission Arena” conference in Sopot, held on April 28–29.
The conference took place in cooperation with the Blue Economy Baltic Forum and the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU. It focused on a region comprising Poland, Eastern Germany, Denmark, and southeastern Sweden. The event was co-organized by BlueMissionBANOS and the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership.
Over the course of a day and a half, participants had the opportunity to discuss the most pressing blue economy issues facing the region, such as shipping and ports, maritime safety, and sustainable food production. The event culminated in the collaborative development of an action plan to help the region achieve the goals of the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters.”
