The final day of BALTEXPO 2025 was dedicated to Education, Careers, and Employment, with a special focus on young people. The University of Gdańsk showcased its maritime-related educational programs to prospective students.
“We are the largest academic institution in Pomerania, and our maritime character lies at the very roots of our university,” said Dr. Ernest Czermański, Professor at the University of Gdańsk and Director of the Centre for the Maritime Economics Studies, during the presentation. “We operate the Centre for the Maritime Economics Studies and offer postgraduate studies in offshore wind energy; furthermore, research into various maritime-related aspects involves not only the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography but also the Faculties of Biology, Chemistry, Economics, and Management.”
