On April 18, 2024, the 12th National Maritime Law Conference, titled “New Technology Law in the Maritime Economy,” was held at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. The event was organized by the Department of Maritime Law (Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdańsk), the Centre for Centre for the Maritime Economics Studies (University of Gdańsk), and the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA Gdańsk). This recurring conference once again brought together a large group of lawyers, representatives from the maritime industry, the ministry responsible for the maritime economy and maritime administration, academics, and—above all—law students. Representatives of Polish Register of Shipping S.A. (PRS) participated in the event, as did experts from the IMO Centre operating within PRS.
