The inaugural EDU OFFSHORE WIND Educational Career Fair took place on March 14–15, 2023, at Amber Expo in Gdańsk. This educational fair responds to the high level of interest in Poland’s offshore wind energy industry. Educating young people is a key factor in the sector’s development and success. The demand for new yet qualified personnel is estimated at over ten thousand in the near future, potentially rising to as many as 60,000 in the long term. The Pomeranian region is set to play a pivotal role; it is estimated that the new sector will generate up to 30,000 new jobs in Pomerania alone, with 20,000 people undergoing training.
CBnGM was involved in the organization of, and the University of Gdańsk’s participation in, the EDU OFFSHORE WIND 2023 Educational Career Fair.
